Maintenance Supervisor

  • Must be EPA certified

  • Must be willing to attend occasional educational seminars upon managements request

  • Must have previous apartment supervisory experience

  • Good organizational skills necessary

  • Must have a good, willing attitude toward staff and residents

  • Must have own tools

  • Must possess leadership qualities, including strong supervisory abilities

  • Must be self-motivated, reliable and honest

  • This position requires that the person be a working supervisor and be skilled in all areas of maintenance

  • Some scheduling may be required

  • Must conduct duties in a professional manner

  • This is an ON CALL position

  • Must have knowledge of swimming pools and their equipment/upkeep

  • Must be good at solving maintenance related and/or personnel problems

PART-TIME LEASING

  • This position requires working either every weekend OR every other weekend, depending on the number of part-time leasing employees at any given community

  • Must be able to follow directives given by supervisor and have a good, willing attitude toward staff, residents and public

  • Required to work most holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas excluded) OR alternate every other holiday, depending on the number of part-time leasing employees hired at any given community

  • Must project a professional image

  • Must be self-motivated, honest and dependable

GROUNDSPERSON

  • Both full and part-time positions available (depending on the particular community)

  • Must be willing to attend occasional educational seminars upon managements request

  • Flexible schedules often offered

  • Perfect position for retired persons and/or college students

  • Knowledge of plants/landscaping helpful

  • No mowing required (contracted out)

  • Little or no tree trimming required (contracted out)

  • Must be able to handle and operate gas and/or electric hedge trimmers, weedeater, other grounds and some snow removal equipment (street snow removal contracted out)

  • Several grounds and/or light maintenance assistance and/or punch-out duties may be required

  • Must be a self-starter and a motivated worker

  • Must be able to follow directives given by supervisors and have a willing, good attitude toward staff and residents

  • Must be honest and dependable

  • Reliable transportation a must
